Norwegian Cruise Line Launching Bermuda Trips From Philly In 2026
Philadelphia-area residents in 2026 will be able to jump aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Jewel to head to Bermuda and more.

PHILADELPHIA — A new way to vacation for those in the Philadelphia area is coming in 2026, as the Port of Philadelphia has announced it will be hosting Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Jewel for trips to Bermuda and more.
According to the Port of Philadelphia, the Norwegian Jewel will homeport from Philadelphia starting April 16, 2026, through Oct. 17, 2026, featuring 24 calls to the city.
In summer 2026, the ship, which can host 2,330 guests, will offer voyages to Bermuda ranging from seven to nine days. There, the ship will overnight, giving guests time to explore the tropical destination.

From Sept. 5, 2026, through Oct. 7, 2026, it will sail 10- and 11-day voyages to Canada and New England.
The ship will alternate homeports between Philadelphia and Quebec City featuring calls in smaller ports in the region, such as Saguenay, Charlottetown and Halifax, Canada, as well as Bar Harbor, Maine and Boston.

The Norwegian Jewel features 16 dining options, 13 bars and lounges, entertainment, and more.
In launching cruise operations, the Port of Philadelphia anticipates that if growth continues, the cruise industry could generate more than 2,000 direct, indirect and induced jobs, and more than $40 million in annual county and state tax revenue.
