Many people sense Philadelphians to be very honest, friendly, and professional, according to the report's findings.
PHILADELPHIA — A new report from a gambling website found that the Philadelphia accent is one of the most trustworthy in the nation.
BetUS Casino commissioned a report that looked at the most trustworthy accents in the United States.
The company analyzed the sentiment of various U.S. accents online and signs of trust in different regions through search volumes for phrases like “friendly [accent]” and “professional [accent],” along with data on financial crimes in each accents’ region and the number of lawyers, and primary care doctors associated with each accent’s region.

BetUS Casino provided a weights and ranks to these factors to determine a total score to reveal the accents Americans trust the most and the least.
With all those factors considered, Philadelphia came in at No. 3 in terms of trustworthiness.

The Philly accents earned a total score of 48.1, showing in the more than 19,000 searches for how friendly and professional the accent is, the City of Brotherly Love, is just that.
Many people, according to the report, sense Philadelphians to be very honest, friendly, and professional, the region’s low level of financial crimes among all accents listed, gives people added confidence in working with them.
Philadelphia's accent was beaten out by Boston (No. 1), and the Cajun accent (No. 2).
Coming in behind Philadelphia was California (No. 4) and New York (No. 5).
