Philly Pizzeria To Be Featured At Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival

The festival on Saturday in New York City will feature more than 40 of Dave Portnoy's highest-rated pizza parlors in America.

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia pizzeria is headed to Dave Portnoy's One Bite Pizza Festival this Saturday.

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, runs a popular pizza review series online called "One Bite," where he scores pies across America on a stringent 1-to-10 scale.

Now, he is featuring more than 40 of his highest-rated pizza parlors in America at an all-you-can-eat pizza festival at Randall's Island Park in New York City.

The Philly spot being featured? Del Rossi's Cheesesteak and Pizza Co.

According to the festival website, Del Rossi's is "known for its crispy, bubbly pizzas made with slow-fermented dough and cheesesteaks crafted with homemade rolls and freshly sliced ribeye."

Portnoy reviewed Del Rossi's in December 2024, and gave it 8.6 out of 10 points.

"That's as high as I've given out in a long time," he said. "I mean, I love it. I don't know how I haven't had this before."

Del Rossi's is located at 538 N. Fourth St. in Philadelphia.

Also to be featured at the festival is DeLorenzo's Tomato Pies, which has a Yardley location. That eatery received 9.2 rating from Portnoy.
