Philly Police: 2 Suspects Wanted In Drive-By Shooting

PHILADELPHIA—The Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying two men believed to be responsible for a drive-by shooting that left two people injured.

On July 11, 2020 around 1:19 a.m., police said the victims were sitting in a vehicle parked along the 5800 block of N. Hope Street.

The suspects initially walked past the victims on Nedro Avenue towards Front Street. Five minutes later they were seen walking northbound on Hope Street towards Nedro Avenue. According to police, both men took out handguns and began to fire into the vehicle.

The suspects then fled the area on foot southbound on Hope Street towards Grange Street.

According to WPVI-TV, the man was shot in the shoulder and the woman was shot in the leg.

Description of suspects:

Suspect #1: Black male, medium build, wearing a dark colored jacket, ski mask, dark colored pants with a key lanyard on the right side and dark colored sneakers.

Suspect #2: Black male, medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt with an unknown logo on the front, possible jeans and white/black sneakers with reflective areas.
