Philly Police: $5K Reward Offered In Driver Vs. Bicyclist Case
On Sunday, police said a bicyclist from Havertown was riding along Ridge Avenue when a light-colored vehicle fatally struck the victim.

PHILADELPHIA—The Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public’s helping in locating the driver believed to be responsible for a recent fatal hit and run involving a bicyclist. On Wednesday, the department released a photo and video of the vehicle they believed is responsible for striking William Lindsay of Havertown.
On Sunday at 8:35 p.m., police said Lindsay was riding his bicycle north on the 3800 block of Ridge Avenue when a light colored vehicle, possibly a white coupe, struck him. The crash occurred just out of camera range, according to police.

Lindsay was transported to Temple Hospital where he later died from his injuries. Police said glass was found on Lindsay's clothing and hair. As a result, officers believe the vehicle has a damaged windshield.
