Pothole Repair Work To Continue Across Philadelphia This Week

Maintenance crews will again be working to fix potholes across the Philadelphia region this week after this year's freeze-thaw cycles.

PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT maintenance crews will continue to address potholes across the region this week, including many on roads in Philadelphia.

Crews will be working to fix potholes on the following roads in Philadelphia this week:

  • I-95.
  • U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard).
  • Route 63 (Woodhaven Road).
  • Aramingo Avenue.
  • Rhawn Street.
  • Oxford Avenue.
  • Bustleton Avenue.
  • Welsh Road.
  • Adams Avenue.
  • Torresdale Avenue.
  • Castor Avenue.
  • Tacony Street.
  • State Road.
  • Levick Street.
  • Van Kirk Street.
  • Princeton Avenue.
  • Holme Avenue.
  • Cottman Avenue
  • Academy Road.
  • Knights Road.
  • Grant Avenue.
  • Philmont Avenue.
  • Robbins Avenue.
  • Keystone Street.
  • Frankford Avenue.
  • Harbison Avenue
  • Millbrook Road.

According to PennDOT, the region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
Crews will be patching potholes until all areas are addressed.
