Pothole Repair Work Planned On 14 Philadelphia Roads
PennDOT crews will be working to fix potholes on more than a dozen roads in Philadelphia this week.
PHILADELPHIA — More than a dozen roads in Philadelphia are being targeted for pothole repair work this week, PennDOT said.
Below are roads that crews will be working on:
- I-95
- I-676 (Vine Street Expressway).
- U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard).
- Route 3 (Walnut Street).
- Route 63 (Woodhaven Road).
- Route 291 (Penrose Avenue).
- Market Street.
- Castor Avenue.
- Aramingo Avenue.
- Rhawn Street.
- Welsh Avenue.
- Spring Garden Street.
- Baltimore Avenue.
- Oregon Avenue.
According to PennDOT, the region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
