There is no singular solution that meets the needs of every learner so it is imperative that parents and caregivers have access to quality educational options, should they wish to utilize them.
Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) has research that shows that our students outperform their peers, and that the longer CSFP scholars attend their school of choice, the better their educational outcomes. We know that our partner schools are providing a quality, safe education. Our goal is to make these educational options accessible for families, removing financial barriers and supporting families as they make decisions for their children!
We are committed to providing scholarships for students to attend tuition-based schools of choice in the greater Philadelphia area. CSFP scholarships are need-based and awarded by random lottery. Up to three children per family can receive up to $3,350 to attend more than 150 partner schools in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Our scholarships ensure that students can stay in the same school through 8th grade, positioning them for long-term success. Additionally, for the first time since 2022, CSFP scholarship award amounts have increased, giving higher scholarships for families to attend schools of choice.
Our program is multi-faceted: we provide scholarships, school selection support, opportunities to attend summer camps, and more. Beyond the support of our organization, CSFP partner schools offer many perks for families. Students can participate in extracurricular activities, before and after school care, and sports offered through their private schools.
