- Postal service mailboxes in West Philadelphia are being broken into and checks are being stolen. The checks have then been fraudulently cashed for thousands of dollars. - MANNA, or the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance, is seeking some financial help from the public with a tasty treat as a reward. MANNA is running its annual pie sale, selling Thanksgiving pies to raise money to provide people with warm, gourmet meals for the holiday. (WHYY)
- The rollout is underway for the newly authorized pediatric vaccine for children 5 to 11 in Philly. Appointments and clinics are being set up around the area in all kinds of locations, from school gyms to drug stores and doctor’s offices. This marks an important step, as getting younger children vaccinated is considered a last big step in getting lives back to normal. (CBS Philly)
