SEPTA Adds More Trains To Broad Street Line For Eagles Opener
Sports betting platform FanDuel's sponsorship will allow SEPTA to run express and local Broad Street Line trains before and after the game.

PHILADELPHIA — A potential transit disaster for the Eagles season opener Thursday has been avoided thanks to a partnership between SEPTA and sports betting platform FanDuel.
The Philadelphia Eagles Wednesday afternoon said FanDuel stepped in to provide resources to help fully restore service on SEPTA's Broad Street Line for Thursday's game.
That means Eagles fans can safely and efficiently get to-and-from Lincoln Financial Field for the home opener.

Pregame Sports Express trips will run every 10 minutes to supplement local service.
After the game, SEPTA will have 10 express and six local trains ready to get fans home from NRG Station. These trips will run for about 70 minutes after the game concludes.
SEPTA is urging fans to go to NRG station right after the game to ensure they can catch a train home.
And, the FanDuel sponsorship covers free rides home for fans. Free rides from NRG Station begin at halftime and continue through the end of service.
"We appreciate FanDuel and SEPTA for collaborating to help provide Eagles fans with convenient transportation to-and-from our home opener," Philadelphia Eagles President said. "Their generous support will assist fans in getting to Lincoln Financial Field so that we can all enjoy the Championship Moment together as we take on the division rival Dallas Cowboys."
"We know excited Eagles fans are making their travel plans to Lincoln Financial Field for tomorrow as they get ready to watch the team's home opener," Mike Raffensperger, President of Sports at FanDuel said. "As an official team partner of the Eagles, we are proud to collaborate with SEPTA to make that planning easier by providing fans with free and reliable transportation after the game."
