SEPTA During Eagles Parade: Guide For Public Transit
SEPTA is making changes to the regular schedule of Broad Street, Market-Frankford, and Regional Rail lines for the parade Friday.

PHILADELPHIA — Hundreds of thousands of Philadelphia Eagles fans will descend on the city Friday for the Super Bowl LIX victory parade.
And with so many fans coming to Philadelphia, SEPTA is shifting some of its regular transit details to increase ease of access to the parade and ceremony.
The parade is scheduled to begin at approximately 11 a.m. on South Broad Street, continue north to City Hall and then onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway toward the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

SEPTA General Manager Scott Sauer at a news conference said the transit authority is ready to provide access to the parade and ceremony by making changes to the regular schedule of Broad Street, Market-Frankford, and Regional Rail lines.

"We expect travel to the parade will be smooth," he said. "However, we ask for patience. We can't get everybody in at the same time, and we can't get everybody out at the same time. So please be patient."
Sauer said SEPTA staff will be "all over the place" to help travelers, with dozens of staffers at each station.
He went on to say riders should consider spacing out return trips after the parade and ceremony.
On Parade Day, riders should refer to this website, follow SEPTA on X, and check System Alerts for the most up-to-date information on schedules, station closures and detours.
SEPTA will limit stops and run express-type rail service on Friday to serve hundreds of thousands of riders who are expected to use the system to travel to-and-from the Eagles Championship Parade.
High-frequency service will operate on the Broad Street Line and Market-Frankford Line, and trips on both of these lines will be free thanks to sponsorships from Nike, Duracell and Gran Coramino, a line of premium tequilas founded by Philadelphia native Kevin Hart and the official luxury tequila partner of the Philadelphia Eagles.
To better manage crowds with available personnel, and to allow for more efficient service, SEPTA will consolidate stops on all rail lines.
Regional Rail will operate inbound-only in the morning and outbound-only after the parade. Fares are required for Regional Rail, and customers must have either a valid Key Card or pre-purchase a special One Day Pass that is on sale today and tomorrow. No Regional Rail passes or tickets can be purchased in-person on Friday.
Regular fares also apply for travel on buses and trolleys – free rides only apply to the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines.
Below are highlights of the major service adjustments for parade day:
Market-Frankford & Broad Street Lines [B & L]
The Market-Frankford [L] and Broad Street [B] Lines are the best options for travel to-and-from the parade. Thanks to support from Gran Coramino, rides on both lines are free on Friday.
The Market-Frankford Line provides access to Center City from many suburban communities via 69th Street Transportation Center, with connections to the Norristown High Speed Line, the Routes 101 and 102 Trolley Lines, and multiple bus routes. The Market-Frankford Line also connects to outlying points with bus and trackless trolley service at Frankford Transportation Center. To get to the Broad Street Line, customers can connect from multiple bus routes at Fern Rock Transportation Center, Olney Transportation Center, and other stations.
Trains on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines will run approximately every 6 to 8 minutes starting just before 5 a.m. on Friday. The entire 15th Street complex will be closed including City Hall, MFL 13th Street, Metro Trolley 13th & 15th Street, and Suburban Station on Regional Rail.
