State Police: Woman Wanted For ID Theft In Philly, Warminster

According to police, the woman made purchases at Trek Bicycle totaling $11,271.17 using someone else's identity.

PHILADELPHIA—Troopers with Pennsylvania State Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for identity theft in Philadelphia and Warminster.

According to law enforcement, the woman used a fraudulent Pennsylvania ID card in a victim’s name to rent a storage unit at Mr. Storage, which is located at 2515 South Front Street in Philadelphia. The storage unit was found to have not been utilized.

The suspect was found to have also opened a Trek Bicycle credit card in the same victim’s name and made purchases totaling $11,271.17 at the following two Trek Bicycle sales locations in the Philadelphia area:

1. Trek Bicycle Manayunk, 4159 Main Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127

2. Trek Bicycle Warminster, 375 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974

According to troopers, the crimes occurred from March 5, 2020 through March 9, 2020. The victim in each of these cases is a 29-year-old woman who resides in White Township, Indiana County, they said.
