Suspect Sought In 93-Year-Old Man's Death In Philadelphia
Philadelphia Police said Coy Thomas, 53, has been named a suspect in the killing of 93-year-old Lafayette Dailey.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police have identified a suspect in connection with the death of a 93-year-old man.
Police said the man was found dead at about 2:58 p.m. Dec. 5 at a residence on the 4500 block of North 16th Street. He was later identified as Lafayette Dailey.
Dailey was found with a laceration to his chest and trauma to his head.

Investigators learned his wallet, car keys, and vehicle were missing from the scene, but the vehicle was found several days later.
A post-mortem examination done on Dec. 6 determined Dailey's cause of death to be multiple stab wounds, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Homicide investigators identified Coy Thomas, 53, as a suspect in Dailey's death.
Thomas has a last known address on the unit block of Ashmed Place.

A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
