SWAT Officers Respond To Northeast Philadelphia Home After Man Fires Shots

Philadelphia SWAT officers are on the scene at a home in Northeast Philadelphia after a man inside the home began firing shots, sources and a police spokesperson say.

The home is on the 7500 block of Verree Road.

A Philadelphia police spokesperson said authorities received a call just before 7 a.m. for a person with a gun. When officers arrived on the scene, the man fired shots at them through the front door.
