A 15-year-old is reportedly in custody after a 16-year-old was shot in the face Monday evening in Port Richmond, Philadelphia Police said.
PHILADELPHIA — A teenage boy is in critical condition after being shot in the face Monday evening in Philadelphia, and another boy is reportedly in custody, according to police and news reports.
The shooting happened at about 6:35 p.m. on the 3100 block of Gaul Street in Port Richmond, Philadelphia Police said.
Shot was a 16-year-old boy.

Police said he suffered a gunshot to his "facial area," and was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
According to Action News, a 15-year-old boy is in custody.

The shooting happened when the victim was hanging out in a backyard on Gaul Street, NBC10 reports.
Police have not determined any motive.
