  1. On Wednesday, Latif Williams, 17, turned himself over to the police for the killing of a 21-year-old Temple University student from Delaware County. Williams was accompanied by a lawyer. Williams is accused of shooting Samuel Collington, 21, of Prospect Park, Sunday at about 1:30 p.m. outside Collington's off-campus apartment on the 2200 block of North Park Avenue.   2. Authorities are investigating a car accident that left a police officer injured in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry section on Thursday morning. The incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. in the area of 32nd and Tasker streets. Authorities say the officer was traveling on Tasker Street when he was struck by a stolen vehicle traveling southbound on 32nd Street. (WPVI-TV)
  3. The Chocolate Ballerina Company will make history as they put on Philadelphia's first all-Black production of the holiday classic "The Nutcracker" this month. The production will debut at Drexel University's Mandell Theatre in two shows on Sunday, Dec. 19. The first starts at 1:30 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m. The Chocolate Ballerina Company is a service organization that supports the hidden talents of youth and adult artists of color in the Philadelphia region.   4. With a recently unveiled mural, Points of Triangulation, Mural Arts Philadelphia is asking for viewers and residents to change how they perceive incarcerated people. The mural was first unveiled in October, during Mural Arts Month. Mural Arts Philadelphia is posing the question by depicting two separate yet similar murals that face one another. The intention is to ask viewers to make a choice. (AL DIA News)
  5. One person was shot multiple times on Thursday morning after arriving at a home in Philadelphia's Bridesburg section. According to police, a 39-year-old man had just pulled up to the home in the 2100 block of Haworth Street when he was shot at 12:44 a.m. Police said two suspects appeared on either side of the car and opened fire.
