Wife Kills Husband After He Kicked In Doors, Threatened Her: Police
The woman said her husband left home about a week ago, then kicked in both the front and back doors when he returned, according to police.
PHILADELPHIA — A wife fatally shot her husband after he kicked in the doors to their home and threatened her overnight, according to police.
Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a person with a gun in the 4400 block of Cottman Avenue, police said.
They were met by a woman who said her 38-year-old husband had left the home about a week ago and had returned, kicking in both the front and back doors, and threatening her once inside, according to police.

In response to the threats, the woman retrieved her handgun and fired, striking her husband once in the upper right shoulder, police said, adding the man was pronounced dead by medical personnel just minutes after the call came in.
The incident remains under investigation, according to police.
