PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles are all ready to take on the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend in Super Bowl LVII.
And the city is getting ready for any activities following the game too.
Philadelphia officials said all preparations are geared toward ensuring public safety.

"There are public safety plans that are being developed in the event of the Eagles potentially winning the Super Bowl, which include the possibility of temporary road closures, impacts to public transit, and measures to reduce the risk of injury and public property damage," a city representative told Patch. "Based on prior experience in these situations, and to control the flow of crowds, barricades have been put into place at key locations for public safety."
But the real question is: will the poles be greased?

It's unclear if the "tradition" will be honored.
Officials are tight-lipped on if the poles will be greased.
"Additional protocols for the upcoming game are being evaluated by the police department, including the greasing of poles," officials said. "For public safety reasons, the City is not disclosing if/when the poles will be greased."
As for a potential parade, post-win celebrations are usually within two to four days after the game, officials said.
