Woman Critical After Domestic Shooting: Philadelphia Police

Philadelphia Police took one person into custody in connection with a domestic shooting that left a woman critical Tuesday afternoon.

PHILADELPHIA — A domestic incident left a woman in critical condition Tuesday after she was shot, Philadelphia Police said.

The incident occurred at about 2:23 p.m. in a home on the 100 block of East Walnut Lane.

Police said a 29-year-old woman was shot in her residence on that block.

She was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she is in critical condition.

Police took one person into custody, and said the shooting was domestic.
