Woman's Body Found Stuffed Inside Futon In Philadelphia: Reports

Police found a 21-year-old woman's body that was suffering stabs, burns, and had a cord around the neck wrapped up in a futon Saturday.

PHILADELPHIA — A woman's dead body was found stuffed inside a futon in Philadelphia, according to reports.

NBC10 reports the discovery was made at about 12:39 a.m. Saturday at an apartment on the 4400 block of Frankford Avenue when police were investigating a missing person incident.

At the apartment, police found a 21-year-old woman's body wrapped in a sheet and shower curtain inside a futon, according to Fox 29.

Police told Action News the woman had stab wounds to her neck and torso, burn marks, and a flat iron cord around her neck.

Authorities did not find any weapons and did not make any arrests.
