- Longtime host and producer of WPVI-TV's "Puerto Rican Panorama" public affairs program died this week at the age of 88. Diego Castellanos began his broadcast career in 1954 before joining channel 6 in 1970, where he'd been behind and in front of the camera ever since. According to his family, funeral services are being arranged. (wpgtalkradio.com)
- The city of Philadelphia is set to build 1,000 affordable houses in the area as part of an initiative to assist low-income residents. The "Turn the Key" program leading the effort is funded by the $400 million Neighborhood Preservation Initiative, which was passed by city officials back in 2020. First-time home owners will be prioritized and mortgages will come out to about $1,200 per month. (PhillyVoice.com)
- Are you curious about Philadelphia's "sexiest Airbnb?" Nicknamed "The HottieHouse," this house in Northeast Philadelphia resembles a full-fledged video music shoot inside. The host, Siren Redd, decorated the house so that each room looks different. Her designs were inspired by female artists.
