617 PECO Customers In Chesco Woke Up In The Dark

A total of 1,514 PECO customers in the Philadelphia region are without power at 6:30 a.m., PECO reported this morning.

CHESTER COUNTY, —An early morning rainstorm left 617 customers in Chester County waking up in the dark, according to PECO.

Overall 1,514 PECO customers were without power in the Philadelphia region. The outages occurred between midnight and 6 a.m.

The heavy rain is expected to continue for the next hour. The air quality is moderate level, which means sensitive groups should stay inside.

  • East Coventry: 11
  • East Marlborough: 14
  • East Whiteland: 14
  • Schuylkill: 31
  • Tredyffrin: 8
  • West Pikeland: 18

Fewer than 5: Avondale, Charlestown, Downingtown, East Brandywine, East Nottingham, Franklin, New Garden, Lower Oxford, Oxford, Phoenixville; Uwchlan, West Bradford, West Brandywine, West Caln, West Goshen, West Marlborough, Uwchlan, West Bradford, West Brandywine, West Caln, West Chester, West Goshen, West Marlborough, West Pikeland, and West Vincent

In addition, a total of 505 customers in Montgomery County were without power, and 153 in Delaware County were without electricity.
In Philadelphia, 155 customers woke up in the dark. In Bucks County, just 32 customers were without power.
