Accident Investigation Turns up Pot in Car

Two Chester Springs men are facing misdemeanor charges for possession of a small amount of marijuana following an accident Monday afternoon in East Pikeland.

East Pikeland Police say they were called to accident at the intersection of Pike Springs Road and Red Fox Lane at about 4:20 p.m. Monday.  Police say that "as a result of this accident investigation a small amount of marijuana was discovered in two back packs located in the vehicle."

The two men, ages 23 and 22, were cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and released pending a hearing at a later date and time
