Artists Head Outdoors at Valley Forge Park

The Valley Forge National Historic Park is hosting a series of plein air painting sessions this week.

Artists from the Delaware Valley Art League bring their paint boxes and easels out of the studio and into nature this week at Valley Forge National Historic Park.

This is the first organized “en plein air” painting event at Valley Forge, part of ongoing efforts to highlight new ways to enjoy the park.

Members of the Delaware Valley Art League will be at three historic sites, near the headquarters of Washington, Varnum, and Huntington, and related park areas Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
