Chili Cook-Off Festival Sunday In West Chester
More than 50 teams will compete in the 21st annual Chili Cook-Off in downtown West Chester.
WEST CHESTER, PA —The Rotary Club of West Chester is hosting the 21st annual Chili Cook beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 137 N. High St. in downtown West Chester.
More than 50 teams composed of businesses, hometown cooks, and nonprofit organizations will be competing for the “People’s Choice” award for the best chili in Chester County.
The event attracts several thousand visitors from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Visitors are asked to sample chili and vote for their favorite chili. The winning team will receive a $2,500 cash prize.

The following streets will begin to close at 6 a.m. to prepare for the event:
- Gay Street from Walnut Street to New Street.
- High Street from Chestnut Street to Market Street.
- Church Street from Chestnut Street to Market Street.
- Darlington Street from Chestnut Street to Market Street.
- Motorists are asked to use caution if traveling in this area due to increased pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
