'Fun Dungeon' Arcade Proposed In Phoenixville

Phoenixville Borough Council is expected to make a decision at its Feb. 14 meeting.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Borough Council heard additional testimony this week on a proposal for a borough resident to open a “Fun Dungeon: Brewcade & Billiards" which would have pinball, a pool table, and other games at 119 S. Main St.

Clinton S. Weiler asked for a conditional use approval required to open the arcade in the basement level of the former Moose Club’s social hall. The building was constructed in 1917.

A decision is expected to be reached at the Feb. 14 meeting.

“I hope to host events and be part of the community,” he said during council’s meeting Tuesday. “Phoenixville is a special place, and we look forward to being part of it.”

The requirement for approval is that the property does not have an adverse effect on the borough.
