Gateway Pharmacy in Phoenixville Wins 2022 Pharmacy Of The Year Award

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Gateway Pharmacy was awarded the "2022 Pharmacy of the Year" during AmerisourceBergen and Good Neighbor Pharmacy’s annual ThoughtSpot Conference and tradeshow in Orlando, Fla.

Gateway Pharmacy emerged as the winner from a field of more than 4,800 nominations representing nearly 800 pharmacies across the country.

The award spotlights pharmacies in the Good Neighbor network that provide unwavering commitment to their communities and patients.

Good Neighbor Pharmacy, an advocate for independent pharmacies, celebrated its 40th anniversary at the conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

The in person conference was canceled the last two years due to the pandemic.

The three-day conference provides pharmacists access to more than 20 live and on-demand continuing education sessions and certification programs and networking opportunities.

“We’re thrilled to be back in person in time to commemorate Good Neighbor Pharmacy’s 40th anniversary with an event full of opportunities to celebrate our customers, provide exceptional educational sessions, buying opportunities, business resources and so much more,” Jennifer Zilka, president of Good Neighbor Pharmacy, said in a prepared statement.

Gateway Pharmacy is a family-owned and operated independent community pharmacy that has served the Phoenixville area since the early 1950s.

The pharmacy takes pride in knowing their customers and their families, providing a unique and customized experience for each patient, according to a statement from AmerisourceBergen, headquartered in Conshohocken.
