Gearing Up For Main Line Animal Rescue League's Tails & Trail Run

The 11th annual Tails & Trails Run and Walk fundraiser is scheduled Saturday, June 4.

PHOENIXVILLE — Main Line Animal Rescue League is gearing up for its 11th annual Tails & Trails 5K Run, 2K Walk through the Chester County countryside.

Main Line Animal Rescue, an affiliate of the Pennsylvania SPCA, is hosting the event Saturday, June 4, on the league's farm at 1149 Pike Springs Road, Phoenixville.

The event, presented by Chewy, has become a staple for animal lovers across the Delaware Valley.

Athletes of all abilities are invited to come together to support league's mission to save abused, unwanted and abandoned animals and ultimately find them new, safe and loving homes.

Check-in is at 7:30 a.m. Runners begin at 9 a.m. Walkers begin at 9:15 a.m.

The 3.1 mile cross-country style course traverses rolling hills, offering sprawling views of leagues 60-acre farm in Chester Springs.

Participants can take part in-person or join the fund-raiser virtually.

Top fundraisers will be recognized at the end of the race alongside those who completed the course the fastest.

The event features a beer garden provided by Root Down Brewing Company, food from Mad Dash Grilled Cheese, a Bloody Mary bar courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, raffles, adoptable animals and much more.

A beer garden opens at 10:15 a.m.

The league encourages participants to set up their own fundraising page through the registration page.
