Kampf Proposes Pennsylvania Invest In Its Tech Industry

The Rep. says the $140 million outlay would spur job growth and innovation.

State Rep. Warren Kampf (R-157) introduced a piece of legislation last week that would use state money to invest in high-tech industries, the Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting.

Kampf proposed the “Innovate Pennsylvania Program” along with fellow state Rep. Joe Hacket (R-161).

Under the program, the pair want to funnel at least $140 million into cash poor tech-firms in the state. They say this will catalyze job growth and innovation.
