At Least 1 Seriously Injured After Crash In Phoenixville
Heavy traffic swamped the area after the intersection was shut down for hours following the incident.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — At least one person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Phoenixville on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at around 6:11 a.m. at the intersection of Route 23 and Route 113, just in front of the McDonald's.
The circumstances of the crash are not yet clear and authorities have released limited information as of early Thursday afternoon.

The intersection was shut down for hours after the crash, leading to heavy traffic jams nearby. Mowere Road, a potential detour route, was already closed due to construction, worsening the backup.
