Local Great Grandmother Dies at 78
Services planned Wednesday for grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 15.
Jeannette E. (Kulp) Hettrick, age 78, wife of the late Kenneth L. Hettrick, Sr., of Linfield, PA, formerly of Sanatgoa, PA died early Friday morning, July 26, 2013 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Pennsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Bauer) Kulp. She was a member of the first graduating class of the Upper Perk High School. Mrs. Hettrick worked for over 50 years as an office manager in the automobile industry, which included working for Ludwig's and Norco Auto Sales.
She was a member of the Linfield United Church of Christ. She was also a life member of the North End Fire Company in Pottstown. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, boating, fishing and camping. Mrs. Hettrick was a dedicated family woman and adored the time she could spend with them.
Mrs. Hettrick is survived by three children: Kenneth Jr., husband of Beatrice, of Linfield; Brian, husband of Charlotte, of Spring City; April Kidon, companion of Mike Stephenson, of Sanatoga; four siblings: Richard Kulp, Gerald Kulp, Priscilla Byndas, Darlene Grubb; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hettrick was pre-deceased by one daughter: Cynthia A. Hettrick; one sister: Gloria Bobyak; one brother: Leanard Kulp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Ruth C. Chartier. Burial will be in the Limerick Church Burial Ground.
Friends will be received from 7:00 - 8:30PM Tuesday evening or 9:00 - 10:00 AM Wednesday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Seasons Hospice, 700 S Henderson Rd Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
