Report Indicates Colin Small May Have Just Made 'Mistake'
A source close to the case says the Va. GOP contractor and Phoenixville resident might have just panicked when he missed a deadline.

Phoenixville man Colin Small drew national scorn last week when he, while working for the Republican Party of Virginia, allegedly threw out eight voter registration forms on the day of the state’s registration deadline.
But while partisan accusations have ensued, according to US News and World Report, a source close to the case is saying that the 23-year-old may not have had a partisan agenda as much as a desire to save his own job.
The magazine’s Washington Whispers blog is reporting that a source involved in the prosecution told them that Small missed the deadline to hand in the eight voter forms and, fearful of getting fired, threw them out.

The source added that Small would have gotten fired had he missed the deadline.
Though Small has since been charged, it appears the Virginia Attorney General will not investigate the case, a local Fox affiliate is reporting.
