May Is Mental Health Month: DA
Chester County has several hotlines residents can call for help with mental health issues.
WEST CHESTER, PA —Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, and it affects how we think, feel, and act in our daily lives, Chester County District Attorney's office reminds residents.
During May, make sure to check in with your own mental health, and seek out help if you need it.
In Chester County, over 250 first responders and criminal justice professionals have been trained in Crisis Intervention Training.

This critical program instructs them on how to act as front-line caretakers in the assessment and management of offenders with a mental illness.
The training is provided to 911 dispatchers, emergency medical technitions, police, probation officers and more.
