Moving Day At The New Borough Hall
Borough services and police have moved to a new home on Bridge Street.

Phoenixville Borough employees spent Monday afternoon moving out of the now-closed Phoenixville Municipal Building (which opened in 1963) and in to the new Borough Hall at 351 Bridge Street.
In addition to the 28 person police department on the first floor, the second and third floors are the new home to the Borough offices.
Council chambers where public meetings will be held is on the third floor.
There are still a few finishing touches to be worked on. The Bourough Manager says tile will be installed in the lobby areas by the end of the week.
Borough employees will spend much of Tuesday unpacking the hundreds of boxes and files that moved from the Church Street Building.
A lot of planning and packing went into the transfer from the old building to the new, which was accomplished in one day.
Pleased but tired, Township Manager Jean Krack quipped "I think next time we'll give ourselves two days to do the move."
Phone numbers to reach the Borough offices will remain the same in the new building.
