PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Record setting heat pushing 100 degrees has led Phoenixville to cancel its downtown street closures and outdoor markets this weekend.
The closure had been scheduled as part of Phoenixville Inside Out's regular programming, which includes various outdoor vendors, eateries, drinks, and live music on Bridge Street.
The closure had been slated for June 21 through June 23.

A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms will continue from Saturday through Sunday, with thunderstorms becoming likely by Sunday night. But while the storms threaten, the heat will threaten the 100 degree mark, with a forecasted high of 98 on Saturday and 99 on Sunday.
