Phoenixville Hospital Hosting Free Diabetes Health Fair
The fair will run on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
November is American Diabetes Awareness Month, and to celebrate Phoenixville Hospital will offer a free program on Diabetes on Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at 826 Main Street, Suite 300, in Phoenixville.
Important information will be provided about nutrition, exercise, glucometers, diabetes supplies, weight loss, medications, and insulin pumps.
The Health Fair will feature knowledgeable speakers Herbert Fischer M.D., Cardiologist; Ravi D. Patel M.D., Ophthalmology; and Barbara O’Connor R.N., Certified Diabetes Educator. Free eye screenings will also be provided on-site by the Moore Eye Institute.
