Phoenixville's National Night Out Will Be Held
The threat of severe weather has canceled the planned celebrations in other towns.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The National Night Out celebrations planned for Tuesday night in Phoenixville will go on as scheduled, officials confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
The threat of severe weather has canceled the festivities in numerous area townships, including West Chester, Plymouth Township, and Lansdale, though Norristown is joining Phoenixville in holding the event rain or shine.
The event will take place at the Parks and Recreation Center at 501 Franklin Avenue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The night, which is held locally in municipalities around the country, promotes safety and community-police partnerships.
