Public Hearing on New Early Learning Center Set
The district's Board of School Directors have authorized a maximum building construction cost and maximum project cost for the project.

Phoenixville Area School District will hold a public hearing later this month on the New Early Learning Center and Elementary School, the district said.
The public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 19 in the board room of the District Administration Office, 386 City Line Ave. in Phoenixville.
The purpose of the hearing is to “inform the residents of this school district of all relevant matters relating to planning, designing, acquiring, construction and furnishing of the proposed New Construction of the New Early Learning Center and Elementary School,” the district said.

The district’s Board of School Directors on Jan. 15 authorized a maximum building construction cost and maximum project cost for the project, the district said. The maximum building construction cost is $47,270,761, and the maximum project cost is $80,911,301.
There will be a 30-day public comment period following the hearing.
