Route 422 Bridge Work Next Week In Tredyffrin and Upper Merion
Motorists are asked to use caution when driving in the westbound lane of Route 422.
VALLEY FORGE, PA —Bridge work is planned next week on the westbound lane of Route 422 in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County and Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, PennDOT announced Friday.
The work is part of a $117 million project to widen the Pennsylvania Turnpike on a two-mile stretch at the Valley Forge Interchange between milepost 324 and 326.

- Monday, Jan. 9, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure is planned on westbound U.S. 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
In addition, westbound U.S. 422 traffic may be slowed periodically during the nighttime operation for equipment movements at the Turnpike bridge work area.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching these areas. The schedule is weather dependent.
