Teen Struck By Vehicle In Phoenixville, In Critical Condition
The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A teenager is in critical condition after a crash involving a pedestrian in Phoenixville this week, and police are investigating.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Smithworks Boulevard.
A vehicle struck the victim, a 16-year-old boy, who was walking, police said.

Tower Health Ambulance took the boy to Paoli Hospital's trauma center, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The driver stopped immediately and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately known.
The road was shut down for hours Tuesday as crash investigators arrived and the scene was cleared.
