Tredyffrin Storm Water Fee Special Meeting Monday, May 8
Tredyffrin Township supervisors are working on plans to upgrade the infrastructure to prevent serious flooding thoughout the township.

TREDYFFRIN, PA —Tredyffrin Township supervisors are hosting a special meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, to discuss the implementation of a stormwater management fee for residents.
Township officials said the fee is not likely to be implemented until 2025.
The meeting is located in the township building, 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn.

The township has hired Jacobs Engineering for $397,963 to develop a proposal to implement a stormwater management fee.
The decision to implement a fee for the taxpayers followed two public hearings in which residents complained about flooding issues throughout the 19-square-mile township.

During the extreme weather conditions on Aug. 18 and 19, 2021 and Sept. 1, 2021 from Tropical Storms Fred and Ida, the township office received numerous calls from property owners about flooding and other issues.
A total of 12 inches of rain was reported in less than two weeks.
