John Ceianti partnered with his niece, Mackenzie Shoemaker, and friend, Maddie Lesinski to open the barbershop. Another friend, Justin Barberro will also work in the shop.
“We are trying to revitalize the area with a neighborhood barbershop,” Ceianti said. “People are already texting and stopping by.”
Ceianti, 31, a Phoenixville High School graduate, developed an interest in cutting hair when working at Sal’s Barber Shop for his friend, Brian Oplinger.
He got his license and decided to open a business with his niece and friends
“We are all set up,” he said. “We have barbers with both barber and cosmetology licenses, and we service men, women, boys, and girls.”
