Zillow says that tours of the property can be scheduled as soon as today.
Cherington's future in Pittsburgh recently has been the subject of intense speculation in Pittsburgh as the Pirates have stumbled to a horrible 14-29 record to begin the season. They are in last place in the National League Central Division.
Now in his sixth season as general manager, Cherington's teams have never finished higher than fourth in the five-team division.
Last week, Cherington fired manager Derek Shelton amid the team's terrible start.
