PITTSBURGH, PA — Buying a home in Pittsburgh is becoming more expensive, and the most recently-released data from Zillow shows the most expensive ZIP codes to buy a home in and around the city through the month of June.
The average home value in Pennsylvania is $257,511, up 3.7 percent over the past year, Zillow >added. The median number of days before a seller acc15015epts a buyer’s offer is 7 days in Pennsylvania, per Zillow. The 55 most expensive ZIP codes in the state are in Eastern Pennsylvania, in and around Philadelphia.
But there are plenty of places in the Pittsburgh area that have pricey ZIP codes. The most expensive is 15142 for Presto, an unincorporated community near Bridgeville, with an average home price of $622,820.
