17 Sets Of Twins Entering Kindergarten At Colonial SD This Fall
Teachers will be seeing double of their charges at a historic rate.
PLYMOUTH-WHITEMARSH, PA — Prototypical packs of prowling pipsqueaks can be hard enough for teachers to keep straight and orderly. But in one Montgomery County school district this fall, educators are going to have their hands double-full.
That's because Colonial School District will see 17 different sets of twins enter school this fall for the start of the 2023-24 year.
It's the most in school district history, the school said.

"I get to hug my brother any time I want," said Charlotte Dorman, who is matriculating to Ridge Park.
“We always have each other,” said Chloe and Audrey Ugas, who will be attending Ridge Park Elementary School.
“I get to trade Pokemon cards every day, and I always have someone to play with,” said Eloise Fuga, who is taking her talents to Whitemarsh.
“I have a best friend forever and I like to play with her at the pool," her brother Roman added.
Overall, the twins are excited about playground time, math, reading, science, and riding the bus. And perhaps the best perk was elucidated by Eloise: with all the commotion between learning, playing, and commuting to school, "rest time" can be avoided.
The first day of school for the twins attending kindergarten is Monday, Sept. 11.
