$2,700 in Jeans Stolen from Plymouth Meeting Macy’s

A man allegedly stole up to 30 jeans from an upper-level display.

 

An unknown male allegedly stole between 25 and 30 pairs of jeans, valued at roughly $2,700, from the Macy’s in the Plymouth Meeting Mall on March 19, according to the Plymouth Township Police.

A Macy’s loss prevention employee stated that just after 9 p.m., he noticed that a display near the upper level doors was missing all of its items; all that was left were the merchandise tags, police said.

After reviewing surveillance footage, an unknown black male allegedly entered the upper-level doors, grabbed all of the blue jeans on display, and ran out the doors without paying for any items, police said.

Surveillance cameras could not identify in which direction the man fled, according to police, who are investigating the incident.
