PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — A puppy was kidnapped from a pet store in Plymouth Township earlier this month, police announced on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on Feb. 17 at around 3:15 p.m. at the Playful Pets on 115 Ridge Pike.

The man, pictured above, removed a black German Shepherd puppy from its pen area before walking straight out of the store, police said.

The dog would have cost $2,800, according to authorities.

The man ran to a red Ford Ranger pickup truck in the driveway next to the building and drove off eastbound on Ridge Pike toward Butler Pike.
