AmeriSource Bergen In Conshohocken Will Offer Free Flu Shot Clinic For Public Tuesday

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — A free flu shot clinic that is open to the public will be held in the borough on Tuesday.

Drug company AmeriSource Bergen, which recently celebrated the grand opening of its worldwide headquarters in Conshohocken, is holding the flu vaccination event at its offices at 1 West First Avenue on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will take place in the lobby of the building.

Advanced registration is encouraged, and those wishing to participate can sign up here.

The flue vaccines will be administered by the staff of Good Neighbor Pharmacy's Southern Chester County Pharmacy, according to AmeriSource Bergen.

Those planning to attend the flu vaccine clinic are asked to print and sign a flu shot waiver and community flu shot clinic waiver.

Participants who attend the clinic on Tuesday are asked to bring identification.

Earlier this fall, AmeriSource Bergen, a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare products company, celebrated the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art, 429,000-square-foot global headquarters right here in Conshohocken.

At the time, company execs said they want the building to be seen as more than just an office space, and this flu clinic is viewed as an example of the types of community outreach initiatives the healthcare business aims to undertake as it becomes part of the local community.
