Andorra Vet Clinic Welcomes New Doc and Surgeon
The Andorra Veterinary Clinic and Mt. Airy Animal Hospital have a new doctor.

The Andorra Veterinary Clinic and Mt. Airy Animal Hospital yesterday announced the addition of a new doctor and orthopedic surgeon.
The new doctor is Andrea Niggemeier.
Dr. Niggemeier received her veterinary degree from the Free University of Berlin in 1994 and completed a fellowship in transfusion medicine at the University of Pennsylvania before spending a year at an emergency facility followed by a private practice.

After practicing at the Old Marple Veterinary Hospital in Springfield for ten years, she began practicing at the Wellington Veterinary Hospital in Newtown Square in 2009.
While Dr. Niggemeier said she enjoys all aspects of being a general practitioner, her special interests are orthopedic surgery, physical therapy and sports medicine.

Dr. Niggemeier is Vet-Stem certified and is currently a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Services and new appointments will expand because of the addition of Dr. Niggemeier, according to the Andorra Veterinary Clinic.
