Baby Ducks Fall Through Storm Drain In Conshohocken, Rescued
The "tiny adventurers" were the beneficiaries of a dramatic rescue.
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — A group of baby ducks were reunited with their mother recently after falling through a storm drain in Conshohocken.
The dramatic unfolding of events occurred earlier this week, as police swiftly responded to a report of the stranded ducklings.
The mother duck was leading her babies along the street when they failed to navigate the grates of the drain, slipping through.

Fortunately, Conshohocken officers were on hand.
"Thanks to quick thinking and a coordinated effort, the tiny adventurers were safely retrieved and reunited with their very relieved mom," police shared. "It’s not your average day on patrol, but public service means lending a hand (or a wing!) to all members of the community—feathered friends included."

A video shot just after the rescue shows the reunited family being safely escorted away from the road and toward a green space — and far away from the devilish grate.
